How to log into "Hotel Engine" ???

Under discounts it stated that MOA uses Hotel Engine. But when I go to the link it wants me to log in or create a profile. I have tried using my MOA Login (didn't work) and I tried creating a profile but it says I can't use my email address (Its a yahoo.com account). How do we access this benefit??

Used same email address that my BMWMOA account uses.

Website says ...

"Oops! The email you entered does not match any of the approved domains. Please try again with your company email address."

Sorry, no help here...just confirming that it doesn't work for me either.

I’ll have to check on that. Hotel Engine made some updates a while back, but it previously allowed you to register with any email address. It is definitely a different account than your BMW MOA member account and requires you to “register” if you have not used it previously. It will probably be Monday before I get an answer from my contacts.

Waiting on a reply from Hotel Engine, but I did uncover a workaround if you have a Gmail or Google account. There is an option to log in with your Google account even though the system won't accept Gmail addresses for registration. (Go figure!) This appears to work even if you have not previously registered for the service.

Go to the login screen at https://members.engine.com/join/1ae347b. This link is also available from the menu bar at bmwmoa.org. You will land on this page. Even if you DO NOT have an account currently, click the sign-in link in the upper right corner.




Clicking "sign in" will take you to this page where you will enter any email address and click "continue." After clicking continue, you will see a screen with a field for password and an option to login with a Google account. Click the option to login with Google and it will authenticate off your Google username (your gmail address) and password.






Not my favorite solution, but it will get you access to the system until I have a better answer.

Nope, still wont work. I get a "success" message after I have entered my gmail email & password, but the login requirement keeps going in a loop, and I cannot proceed any further.

Just wondering - has anyone been able to use this succesfully?

I've contacted Hotel Engine about a resolution. I was able to login with Gmail function described above, but not through the email address panel.

OK. I think I managed to get someone's attention at Hotel Engine and the process appears to be working now. I was able to create a new account from scratch and login to the system. It is a little bit of a lengthier process that I remember with 2FA authentication, but it was successful. You are welcome to contact me directly if you have difficulty, ted@bmwmoa.org.
