Hill Start Control

I have a 2016 K1600GT. I bought it 2 years ago and never saw the hill start control until I first took it out this spring. I really don't care for it but in the settings under vehicle it's not listed. I'm sure it wasn't on in the fall when I parked the bike. Does anyone have any ideas on how to turn it off ? The manual doesn't show how to turn it off. Thanks, Chris

From the internet-

To disable the Hill Start Control (HSC) on a 2016 BMW K1600GT, you can either temporarily release it by pulling the front brake lever again, or turn it off entirely via the bike’s setup menu. Access the menu, navigate to settings, and toggle the Hill Start Control from "Auto" to "Off" or simply disable it.

That's the thing . It's not listed in settings under vehicle or any other headings. On my 2020 K1600B it was right there under vehicle settings. Thanks for the reply.

I'm not sure that this will help as my GT is a 2023MY. The Owner's Manual directions read: Navigate to SETTINGS>ASSIST>select HSC PRO (Off, Auto or Manual are the selections available).
If this does not help, then I agree, a trip to your dealer for a software update may be in order. Good luck. Regards, Al

Thanks but nope. No assist in my settings. I'll call the dealer next week.
Did you get this resolved? HSC is only activated if you are stopped and you squeeze the front brake hard enough. You will see a green H in a circle on the dash while it's active. If you are seeing that and you don't want HSC, try not squeezing the front brake quite as much. Hope that helps. (I know you are looking for a way to disable it in the bike menus, but this will also keep it from working).
