Hi y'all. FNG here. I've had an old Motobrick for a few years. Bought an almost-as-old Motoboxer last month. Neither is gonna win "best-in-show" anytime soon, but I get a lot of enjoyment out of them both.

Anyway, thanks for the opportunity to be part of the community at MOA.:wave

Welcome to the forum! A couple of different steeds there, depending on your mood! I had to look hard to see the decals on the fenders. So, you're from southern Tennessee? There's some nice riding there and in northern Alabama. :thumb

Thanks! Yes, I live just north of the AL/TN stateline just east of US 231-431, about 30 miles north of Huntsville, and 80 miles south of Nashville. I live in the community of Lincoln, in the county of the same name where our seat is Fayetteville. I'm originally from the AL side of the line, from Madison County, where Huntsville is the county seat.

There is some pretty country to ride in here. We're in the toes of the foothills of the Smokies, and where we have lots of good riding weather. I'm a farmer by trade, so I spend some pretty riding days on a tractor instead of a motorcycle. That also means I have good tool and transport/storage infrastructure, so if anyone has a problem in this neck of the woods, don't hesitate to call.
Especially if you're on an old K. I've spent a little time wrenching on one of those, and keep some parts. I haven't managed to accumulate much of a parts reserve for the RTP yet, but I will.

I'm on 150 acres with a creek and plenty of places to set up a tent. I have a bathroom with a shower and a kitchen sink/food prep area in my garage that I could make available (and even presentable if I had 24hr notice) to someone passing through. I also have a below ground storm shelter if someone was caught in the area with possible inclement weather.

New guy here also...I live in Franklin TN and work in Pulaski so we're just right down the road from each other. I just picked up a 2015 R1200RT and am loving it!
