Greetings,
I am desperately trying to find the 1970 R75/5 that he sold in the 1980s. It was sold in Philadelphia, PA at that time. The notable features of his motorcycle include the Karl Heinrich gas tank painted black with silver sides and gold pin striping, as well as the "cafe racer" style seat that his friend Karl Duffner brought back to the USA from Germany for him in the mid-1970s.
My dream is to find my Dad's R75/5 and ride it to the "Motorrad 100th Anniversary" Rally in Pennsylvania this September.
Unfortunately I do not have the vin number at this time to search the vin.
If you know where this motorcycle is, or knew where it was at any point in time, please contact me at my327vette@aol.com or by private message. I would be grateful!
Thanks,
Jerry
