Heads Shapes and Helmets Models

I have been researching helmets lately. The discussions rarely mention the head shape a particular model of helmet favors. Could folks comment on which head shape the following models favor (round, oval, long oval, etc.):
Shoei X-11
Shoei RF-1000
Shoei TZ-R
Shoei Z-II
Scorpion EXO-700
Shuberth S1
Z1R ZRP-1

I am looking for one that favors a rounder head and fairly quiet. Anyone recommend a model/brand that works better on rounder shaped heads? I heard the Shoei has this reputation, but the RF-1000 may have changed its fit somewhat. I know -trying on models is essential, but I want to narrow down the research a little based on others experiences.

I'm not really sure about what head shape I have (never really tried to define it before), but the only brand of helmet I've ever worn is Shoei. Not because of quyality or price, but because they are the only helmets I've ever found to fit me well. Last year I was looking for a replacement for my RFR, and tried on many brands and models, none fit me as comfortably or as well as the Shoeis. I finally picked up a new RF-1000 at a great price at the Spokane rally. It is noticably quieter than the RFR which it replaced (but I still use my molded earplugs), and the ventilation actually works. Shoei seems to have done a good job on the aerodynamics with their new helmets, so if one should happen to fit you correctly, I'm sure you'd be happy with it.

I have a Caberg Justissimo.. Fits my head real well, VERY quiet but the chin guard comes down to close.. rubs against my chin. Think somebody with a more rounded head would have better luck with it.

Like the flip face, and the integral internal sun visor. PERFECT for somebody that wears glasses.

Rf-1000

A couple of things I have noticed about the RF-1000

I have only had this helmet since spring and have around 5k miles in it.

1) The visor fogs up real easy. I have two other friends that have the same problem. All of us ride RT's they have R1150

2) Vents: Work fine only if the visor is not open past the first notch.

3) Helmet is quiet only when the visor is fully closed. Even opening it with the antifog latch makes it noisy.

4) Visor fully closed I can feel the heat and moisture build-up from breathing.

5) I have noticed that with full wrap around sun glasses this helmet seems to push them down on my nose. Gets uncomfortable after a while.

Other than the above items I find this helmet do be easy to put on and comfortable to wear. It was also the only helmet that would fit my fat head.

Helmets & Heads

Heard alot of head shapes, etc. Especially about the Shoei head and the Arai head. Wore Shoei's for years as a result. Then tried an Arai because I liked the paint job. It didn't fit as well as the Shoei...until I was told that for a really good fit, you need to have the right cheekpads. Which I did and the difference
between the Shoei Head and the Arai Head disappeared. My head, I suspect, is more round than oval but I wear both helmets comfortably. Noise, ventilation, etc. are other issues.
