just did this, seems too good to pass up...got it off ADVrider from markgsnw (don't want to take credit away from the source) :groovy DirecTV just replaced their music channels with XM satellite radio channels. Kinda cool. They also have a deal with XM for "up to 60% off" equipment purchases. Info on the equipment deals here:

If you live out here on the west coast, Good Guys is going out of business. I saw the Roady 2 for $25 in their Corte Madera store last night.

Man, what a shame. I bought my first CD player through them ages and ages ago....

Yeah, it really does. We bought a TV and a viddy cam from them a week ago at ridiculous savings.

They were the place that had sales people that actually knew what they were talking about when you had questions.

Back to your XM discussion, sorry.

Anyone still on the fence about the Roady2 can take advantage of this site too: http://www.shopdelphi.com/promo

There 'must' be a replacement coming out soon since they are selling the Roady2 for $19.99 I bought one just as a spare for the one I move between bikes now. It also gives me more options with the antenna. I shortened my original 27' antenna to 6" so now I have one of each. I also have a home kit and that high-gain antenna works great just pointing it at a window from my entertainment center in the middle of the room.

It also has to do with Delphi trying to get lots of cash in quickly and XM wanting to build their customer base quickly.... the rest I can't tell you about

Best Buy and Circuit City are both running the Roady2 for $30 right now also.. I'll probably go with one from one of those two and get the extended warranty.

ADVriders has some posts aboot the antenna connections going wacky after moving it from vehicle to vehicle for a while..
