Enduroguard suit cooling?

Is there a trick/ modification /way to keep the vents open on my couple of year old black enduroguard suit? I made a mistake and wore it on 3k trip with temp up to 100. It has about 8k break in miles and a few washes in it.

With a cooling vest under I'm good with everything open until 85 degrees. The boiling starts, vents don't really stay open because of design so airflow is poor. Must stand on the pegs to get some relief, the GSA has some airflow, not on an RT etc.

Any thoughts other than don't wear it above 85 degrees?

Thanks for the help
