Hello from Flyover Country!
I've been riding for around 15 years -- started on a 1983 Honda Nighthawk 550, then went to a 1998 Kawasaki ZG1000 Concours. Most recently I put 45K+ on a 2012 Suzuki DL650 V-Strom.
Last year I had the great opportunity to do a week-long ride in Europe, and my rental was an F750GS Sport. I fell in love (with both the Alps and the bike) and vowed it would be my replacement for the Strom.
Here I am, a little over a year later, and my dream is fulfilled. I picked up a 2019 F750GS with only 600 miles on the clock. Oh, my word, what an upgrade from the Wee! Don't get me wrong, the DL650 is a great bike and I really loved my time riding it. But the F750 is just so much MORE in so many ways.
I've only had the bike for a few days, so I'm still in the steep part of the learning curve (ESA? TFT? TPMS? -- it's acronym overload!). Expect me to be a regular presence elsewhere in the forum, cuz I gots lots of questions. But I can't think of a more fun way to get educated.
