My wife has her own bike and her Garmin 660LM is nearing end of life. Her usage of it really comes down to viewing the route that I created while we ride. She also uses the GPS speed as her bike speedo like most has some discrepancies. So I am looking for a replacement/alternative device.
We have been looking at devices like Carpuride. We have a budget around $200. For my wife she really does no off pavement riding and never rides by herself so a dedicated GPS is really not necessary. Something showing a map is really for her comfort level. I would say that 90% plus of the time we have cell coverage.
