Connected iOS app login fail consistently

Is anyone else having trouble logging in to the iOS Connected app (the one labeled “Make Life a Ride”)?? I’ve reached out to BMW who appeared to acknowledge an issue (and “please wait five days…). I’ve been unable to log in since early this month. Deleted the app, reinstalled, changed password on the USA BMW Group website, etc. After email and password, I get the spinning, pulsing wheel for a minute before “Due to a system error, your request cannot be processed at the moment. Please try again later.” Is there anyone getting into the app successfully? Thx.
 
You are not alone. It doesn’t seem Android is doing much better-
