brake failure and general warning light flashing

Need a little help. 2004 r1150r/t with 31,000 miles
on heading home after the rally in Iowa and after about 100 miles stopped for coffee after starting the bike the brake failure light would not turn off after rolling out and began flashing rapidly and the general warning light stayed on. Brakes seemed to function normally so continued on they both eventually turned off after about 5 miles. this continued after every re start till I was withen 50 miles of home home is about 400 miles from the Iowa fair ground the last fifty miles the general warning light was off but the rapid brake failure light continued to stay on. Again brakes seemed to function normally all the way.
Any suggestions on where to begin to chase this down would be a huge help.

Check the ABS sensor clearance at each caliper.
Also, I've seen low battery voltage do some weird things on brake circuits...

iABS fault codes

Gen OFF, ABS ON = Only residual braking in both circuits.
Gen OFF, ABS flashes at 1Hz = ABS not available. Pull-away test not completed.
Gen OFF, ABS flashes at 4Hz = Only residual braking function available in both circuits.
Gen ON, ABS off = rear light/brake light defective.
Gen ON, ABS flashes at 1 Hz = At least one brake circuit without ABS.
Gen ON, ABS flashes at 4Hz =At least one brake circuit in residual braking function mode.
Gen AND ABS flashing alternately at 1Hz = Fluid level in Integral ABS too low. Low-voltage

As previously mentioned you require a GS911 to see the cause of the fault.
