Aux Power Port

Having issues with aux power port in faring. When plugging in any accessories power comes on for split second,then shuts off. Any suggestions??

What accessory and how much current does it draw?

If you unplug and then plug in again with another split second of power, I'd suspect contact problems.

I think the aux port(s)+gps combined are limited to 10A. If the limit is exceeded, the central computer will shut them all down until the ignition is turned off and then back on.

Hi Larry. I do not not know how much it draws.I forgot to mention that the bike is a 2015 and have had no issues until now.I used it for charging cell phone and heated vest. The GPS was working at the same time.

You might try using just one item at a time, to see if one in particular is drawing too much power or has developed a short circuit.

You did say any accessory, but my guess is the heated vest is drawing too much juice. does it do the same thing if just charging phone by itself, which is a low draw.
