Asking for info on ‘95 R1100RSL

I bought my RSL used several years ago. The bike has some modifications, including dual exhausts. The wheels are polished, as are the valve covers. Were RSLs ever offered with a ‘chrome head’ option? Or did a previous owner spend the $$ to add polished wheels and chrome valve covers? The RSLs I see online don’t have those features. Thank you for your thoughts.

No polished or chrome valve covers ever shipped on the ‘95 R1100RSL bikes. Your bike most likely either had it’s valve covers polished by a prior owner or had a set of covers from an R1100 Cruiser installed—certain models of the cruisers did ship with shiny valve overs, hence their moniker “Chrome Heads”.

Nor were polished wheels ever an option on the ‘95 RSL.

I had a ‘95 RSL and sold it at 125k trouble-free miles. I miss that bike!
