Don't forget your towel
Too cold, wet and windy to generate any enthusiasm for riding today so I'm farting around on the web instead. Found this quote while looking at Friendship Sloops:
"Plures naves quam mentes" (more boats than brains)
I tried a bit of google based translation, looking to replace "boats" with "bikes" or "motorcycles" but I don't think they had either of those back in the day. What do you expect from a "dead" language?
Considering I have 3 wood kayaks in the garage and dreams of building more boats in the future (hence the sloop surf-session) the original quote fits me but the bike/boat swap also fits. Any latin scholars out there feel like pitching in?
