96 r1100rs sore elbows - riding position? Also reinforcing the windshield, +cupholder

The R1100RS has a built-in windshield adjuster. That knob up on the dash centered on the windshield is an adjuster. Push in on it and it pops up - extends. Turn it clockwise and the windshield tilts forward.

Hi there,
Would the bar setup on a 97' r1100r interchange with the RS? I would consider trading if it was not too involved.

Not easily. The RS fork tubes don't have the right top fitting to meet the upper triple that the R uses. The RS triple rocks at the center ball joint, and the R triple rocks where the fork tubes fasten to the triple. Basically they are completely different systems.

You could probably drill and tap stuff to force the two to bolt together but I don't think that is what you are after, right?
