I guess
Well, I guess at this time I am confused. I am thinking about an issue other than anything to do with engine drag and such. In my limited experience idle problems are covered by the stuff Snowbum has written about. I have experienced all of those issues except a sticky Timing Advance in my bean can. LOL, the only reason I changed my bean can after 190K miles was I thought it was cutting out and causing intermittent spark problems. Turns out the problem was not in the bean can but in a ground wire in the main harness. That is why I have the spare bean can on hand.
You seem to have something new happening I don't understand. Sorry I can't help more. St.
