6th Annual Laurel Highlands Weekend, Sept 17-20, 2026

She speaks at 11:00 AM.
These suggested routes are good.
I can come up with some better one to come back to Somerset.
Kissell's does a nice job when they have an event. Food, drink............nice.

As a prior attendee I'll say that this event is well planned, organized and very affordable. It's everything you could ask for in a very friendly inclusive environment. Kudos @gsjay and company.

pre registration is closed..........
walk ins welcome but you might get all the goodies!
give me heads up if you can.

Attached are some google map recommendations from Somerset to Tyrone. Looks like a couple of hour ride. I'd be avoiding the Super (e.g., I99) as much as possible. I bet there are some longer, less direct routes also.

When does Ms. Beard speak?

I can provide better options to get to Kissells.
Is anyone planning on going? I need a part picked up there.

Looking at my numbers I have some room for Walk-in's!
Friday BBQ at 6:00.
$30 cash for weekend registration.

I arrived back home in NC Sat. afternoon from another excellent Laurel Highlands Weekend. The very high likelihood for all day rain on Sunday in central PA made the Saturday departure more desirable.

GSJAY (Jason) knows how to put on an excellent weekend gathering - this being his 6th year of having this event. The hotel (a nice Comfort Inn in Somerset, Pa) was pretty inexpensive (less than $100/ night) and the area riding is excellent. The Friday evening banquet was again very tasty and there was enough food for anyone that wanted to go back for seconds (many availed themselves of the opportunity!).

All this for the very reasonable fee of $29.

Thanks, Jason!!! See you next year!
