2023 S1000XR - MotoScan and OBDLink MX+

Does anyone have any experience / feedback with using the MotoScan app and OBDLink MX+ for working on their bike? I'm looking to do basic maintenance (oil changes, brake fluid flushes) myself and I understand that the OBLink will reset oil change mileage and activate the ABS module to completely flush the brake lines. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum! I was able to find a couple of threads that mention various scanning programs including the OBDLink Mx. Maybe this will provide some info to start with:

I have MotoScan and an ODBLink for my 2022 XR. I've only used it for oil change resets, but it has a lot of other functions. Never had any problem with it, connects right up to the phone, MotoScan is easy to use. I keep it under the seat in my XR all the time, just in case something happened on the road and I wanted to see what the ECU was "thinking" was wrong (thankfully never had to use that!!).

Thank you for the response! I was surprised how much less this module is than the GS-911. I wanted to get some real-world feedback on the ODBLink+ before pulling the trigger, in case it is a "too good to be true" item ha.

IIRC, there are something that GS-911 can do that ODBLink cannot do. Not sure if that's still true or not, but if all you want to do is reset the oil and look at sensors from the bike, ODBLink and Motoscan are good to go, they work great.
