Hi Folks, This is my first post here. Purchased a 1978 R100RS from my neighbor and am most of the way through a semi restoration. (Rebuilt engine, carbs, calipers, master cylinders, struts, etc, etc.) I've learned (and spent) a lot!
Here's a peculiar one for you. Connected battery and heard a relay click. Tracked it down to the horn relay. Perused the schematics and couldn't figure how that was possible. With the help of the amazing and brilliant Brooks Reams and his schematic descriptions, I concluded that the new horn relay is a different configuration, with terminals 30 and 86 swapping places. Going back to order the right one!
It took a lot of head scratching and schematic searching to figure this out!
