Need to adjust valve cam timing on my 2018 R1200. I have proper tools but my question is how to properly loosen bolts holding gear to cam. I don’t feel TDC tool is made to handle torque needed to break bolts loose. Do it with cams removed from bike?
You gearheads that wrench a lot, what is your recommendation for a good (maybe not the best) digital torque wrench. I used a "click" wrench for 15 years but it started to get where I wasn't trusting it so I bought a replacement "click" wrench about 10 years ago and now I find I'm not trusting...
After doing a spline lube, I went to buttoning up the trani to the block.
Snobum says 15 ft.lbs...........I say OK.
