How Accurate is the Speedo?
When it says "100 mph," how fast am I really going? -
+6 mph???
It's probably been answered before, but just passing thru a construction zone with the lighted sign that tells "Your Speed" and of course my R11RT is 6MPH optimistic. My '82 R100 was exactly the same. I've found the same to be true when I ride with GPS; it's always +6 Why!!?? Why? Why?:scratch... -
GPS Speedometer
Hello I'd like to here from those of you who have a GPS speedo on their bike. Likes/dislikes, make, pics even. I discovered how optimistic my bike's speedo is when compared to the GPS from the car (at an indicated 100kph I'm only doing 85). A google search shows a few out there. Just looking... -

88 R100RT odometer off
Hi Guys My summer house is 150 miles away, have rode there many times. My new to me 88rt reads only 130 miles for this trip. So the odometer is off. Is the speedo off too? What do you guys think, what is the math adjustment, and what is the repair. Thanks Brian
