    Second Key on Trips Yes or No?

    I gave this a search and nothing came up. I used to take a spare key with me on trips, but that was easy with regards to my '88 R100 RT. With only one key fob, there really isn't a second key to brink along with exception of the plastic emergency key. What do people do on trip? Hope and pray...

    2015 Spare key fob

    Can someone please show with a pic or tell me exactly where the plastic spare key fob for a 2015 R1200RT needs to be placed/inserted to start the bike. Looks like the manual shows it going under the instrument cluster and I've tried inserting it every which way but it does nothing. Thanks

    I wish I would have thought of this sooner, but I did not. I am leaving tomorrow on a 2,000 mile road trip on my R1200RT. Where can I hide a spare key on my bike where it is safe, won't interfere with EWS and will remain firmly attached until and if I need it? The side and top cases are out...
