While arranging for my K1600B Grand America to be serviced for the transmission recall the service tech informed me that there is a Software Recall for the bike as well. Has anyone else heard of this recall and know what the nature of it is?

Here is what was released to Motor.NL by BMW.
Apparently two gears can engage at once, causing rear wheel lock-up.
I've talked to two dealers in the Midwest and they have no K's in for gear box issues.

I received a postcard today from BMW Motorrad which told me of a "campaign" which was still unresolved on my now-traded R1200RT. The postcard included a URL for checking the entire VIN or the last seven digits to see if a campaign or recall were open. Here is the URL...
