I went to install a new H4 headlight bulb in my K75 today. I had two bulbs on the shelf. Both were Sylvania bulbs: one titled "Basic" and one titled "Silverstar". On the package back the Silverstar said Rated Life 140 hours. The Basic bulb package said Rated Life 1110 hours. A quick look...
hi all.
My low beam died. I see here
https://shop.maxbmw.com/fiche/DiagramsMain.aspx?vid=53242&rnd=09082020
that (3) is the low beam replacement for $25 and comes in a pair
also this also fits and comes in pairs...
Took me approximately 50 minutes to change the left side low beam bulb and THEN I have been trying to change the right bulb. It is absolutely ridiculous trying to get in there. I have seen the videos which show the left bulb being changed to include Max's video with the entire headlight assembly...

Thanks for any replies.

I'd like to upgrade the OEM headlights on my '06 R1200Rt to something brighter and with a cooler tint. I came across the Kensun Xenon HID H7 6000k replacement Bulbs on Amazon and was wondering if anyone has done the change. Any recommendations?:scratch
My bike has 23000 miles as of yesterday and my low beam bulb went again. This will be the third in one year. Any body else have the same problem? Seems to often to me. Something is not right. Cheers. ::violin
Happy first day of summer all...
Just bought my second bike and second BMW. First was an '86 R80RT. Like my K, so far. 47,000 miles on it. 50 AMP alternator was not charging properly, turned out to be faulty connections. All set with that.
Now, my headlight has been going off. Does come back...
Afternoon, I bought a replacement Xenon headlight blub for my 2008 R1150RS. The "Repair Manual says to take the whole front fairing off to replace the bulb. I've been through this once before when wiring a set of Clearwater Glenda driving lights and I really don't want to go through that mess...
