From crash.net (http://www.crash.net/motogp/news/195698/1/new_exhaust_less_distracting_for_dovizioso.html):
So, do you suppose this will reverse all the thinking of guys that seem to think motorcycling is about making noise? I mean, now you can emulate a top MotoGP rider and ride with a quiet exhaust and have a "macho" explanation for it.
I'm not holding my breath.
Or perhaps it could be the continuing comparison tests in BMW Motorcycle Magazine where typically addition of an aftermarket system to a BMW provides anywhere from -3 to +5 horsepower change--all for maybe $1K? (Sometimes they don't even think much of the new sound.)
Still not holding my breath.
Before our bike made too much noise and it's now better when you are at maximum angle when you have to play with the throttle. The sound before was so high and it was a little bit distracting? - Andrea Dovizioso
