buy a two pack

I’ve found the battery starts to go flat at the most inopportune moments, so I tape a spare battery to the manual. On the page that explains how to change them out.

It also helps to know how to start the bike with a dead fob battery and also how to start the bike with the plastic emergency key.

I carry the plastic backup emergency key as well. Keyless is so convenient, don’t ya think ;)

I felt really superior with my non-keyless RS until I lost my key last November and went thru various schemes for carrying/hiding a second key. Really would like to have one of those headless "emergency" keys we used to get with a BMW. Nice and small, easy to hide.
