New Owner from the PNW

Hi All!

My name is Kyle, and I finally got my hands on a 1980 R100T.

Super excited about the bike and about riding it, looking forward to a long time of maintenance and other fun projects down the line.

Happy to see you all here!

Cheers.

Hello Kyle and welcome! How long had you been searching before your purchase? Speaking of purchases, any pics you'd care to share?

Here's an album I took recently! https://imgur.com/a/a6SLJFN

I'm still not super happy with its current appearance; I haven't gotten around to giving it a good clean yet, but I've managed to take it on a couple fun rides!

And I had been searching for *any* bike for about a year. Not going to lie, I'm a new rider, and this is my first bike that is mine. I am continually impressed by how simple and well-designed the bike is overall!

Thanks for the welcome :)

Welcome Kyle, have you joined the Airheads yet? You'll want to do that, another great group of folks many of whom are on here too. Welcome from Newfoundland.

Thank you for the welcome! And I'll be sure to join up at the link you shared, as one can never have enough perspective when it comes to these bikes.

Welcome from lower Alabam.

Thank you both!
