and since Paul mentioned that his G310GS recently limped home on the lithium ion jump starter box, it seems rather appropriate that the Zagg company dropped a promo for nicely discounted lithium ion car starters in my mailbox this morning. Most interesting is one that includes a tire pump that shuts off at your preset pressure. They don't give the measurements, but from the photos it looks like it would be a reasonable fit in saddle bags:

Amusingly, they also make a couple of versions that have AC outlets. They mention that you can run a small toaster off of them, which conjures up all kinds of weird AC devices that you could use at remote camp sites to amuse your friends.

My only relationship with Zagg has been that I have used their Invisible Shield glass mobile phone screen protectors for years and found them to be good quality and they have been good about the warranty when I managed to break them (I probably shouldn't put a folding knife in the same pocket as my phone). I have also used one of their Mophie brand phone chargers which was of good quality.

That's pretty neat, but I wonder how the compressor works without overheating? It doesn't look like it have any ventilation on it; my Slime mini-compressors get pretty hot after topping a couple of tires. :scratch

I'll let you know. I couldn't resist the sale price. Unfortunately I won't get my hands on it until the sale is over.
