BMW Supplied "Safety Car" Fleet to MotoGP

the grills on two of the cars look terrible to me

the trend worldwide to make mean aggressive looking front ends of vehicles is a mystery to me

Agreed. Why did BMW try to make a Toyota? This safety car design is getting pretty far away from their recognizable signature grills.

BMW did make a Toyota - sort of. The new Supra is a BMW-Toyota collaboration with a Z4 engine and a bunch of other BMW sourced parts. Its styling is a matter of taste. I haven't seen one in the flesh.

The more I see of new BMWs the more I appreciate my '83 320i.

Is this just a case of stereotypical old guys complaining about new-fangled stuff? :laugh

It's not just old "guys". My wife had a BMW Z4 years ago and loved it. She looked at a new one recently...nope, didn't like it. (Good news for me...)

Did you, by any chance take her to a Kia place and slap a rondel on Rio?
