I believe I knew the answer to this at one point. If you read the owners manual, it starts off by referencing measure 9 pins. The diagram shows 10 as does the wording below the diagram. Is it 9 or 10 pins?

Measure 9 and then measure 10. One will be at least close to the specification and the other will be way off. Tell us which.
 
Thanks Paul! On the 9th it measured at 5". 10th was 5.75". Since this chain has a good amount of miles on it I would have to go with the 10.
