How to repair broken trim piece on side bag

I was walking around my 2014 RT and my pants caught on the plastic trim over the side bag and I broke a small piece of the trim off. Any ideas out there on how to repair/glue the piece without buying a new trim piece cover?

2 part plastic epoxy?

I bought a 2 part plastic epoxy at the hardware store that claims to bond patio furniture and more after having no luck with (super glue ) on glasses frames etc. It works well and dries clear. Just used it on one of my fairing mount holes and looks like it may hold. One of the usual glue makers like 3M I think.

My wife has repaired damaged motorcycle trim with a fiberglass nail kit (for manicures) and it works pretty good!

Just for the heck of it, I once used epoxy to try to repair a crack in a cheap plastic bucket. It held water and lasted 10 years!

JB Weld also makes a two part plastic epoxy. I used several packages of that to rebuild the front fairing after a deer destroyed much of it.
