Just a quick intro. Picked up my first BMW about ten days ago, a 1982 R65. It's in pretty good shape. I have owned about 7 other motorcycles during my almost 50 years of on and off riding. I am familiarizing myself with the uniqueness of the BMW Airheads and have a lot to learn!

Welcome to the club from the middle of the sunshine state. I go to Haps in Sarasota for my service on my 07 R1200RT.
Hi again
I am about two miles away from Hap's in Sarasota. I am attempting to perform the regular maintenance on the bike and Danny in the Hap's parts department has been a great help, very knowledgeable on airheads.
Over the years I have owned:
1969 Suzuki 250
1977 Yamaha 360
1979 Honda 750 F
1986 Honda 450 Rebel
2007 Harley 883 Sportster
2009 Can Am Spyder
2010 Piaggio MP3
