Iím having so much fun with this! Here is a pic of a town called Romeo, which qualifies for ďRomeĒ. Also in this picture is Ross Snowden, a new member I signed up earlier in the day to MOA. This was 15 miles away four hours later. As I pulled over to take the pic he appeared out of nowhere to say hi again lol. What are the odds???
I encourage anyone with a question to first check the FAQ document at www.bmwmoa.org/coddiwomple. In fact, your question about aviation crash sites is answered there. If you don't find the answer there, then send it to coddiwomple@bmwmoa.org where questions potentially of interest to others will be added to the FAQ. I will occasionally be able to answer questions here, but that is totally catch as catch can, and may or may not happen.

To answer your aviation question, the photo must be of a plaque or memorial documenting a specific crash, OR of actual wreckage which clearly shows it is an aviation crash (i.e. fuselage or wing/tail sections, engines, etc.). In the latter case you may not be able to get your bike into the photo, so will need to be in the photo yourself along with your flag.

Also, good job on the new member! This is how we grow our family and have more fun!

    You and Marc are awesome!

Again, anyone doing this that wants a trip to a crash site, come to lower Alabama, Iíll take you to Jeremy Clark run/dive fire range.

Always be wary when a pilot says he will take you to a crash site...... 🤔

    Awwww thanks, Reece!

And thanks to Greg for the suggestion of FAQ. I missed that...had to search in the drop down menu. I rode 300 miles and hit 40 sites. This was my golden goose.

YaaaaaY! Finally got out for my first ride of the season! Got 5 in Saddle Up and Ride. The wind makes it a little more challenging.

Roger that. I put brass eyelets in the corners of the flag, and then I ended up rummaging around in my tool kit to find heavy things to hang on the corners. I think I will MacGyver some clips with some fishing weights.

@Greg... it would be fun to have some kind of leaderboard. Just so we could have some idea of what others are doing.

For the first ride your flag is looking pretty sad
Hopefully it makes it to the finish line

It's ok, just the wind pushing o it. I'm thinking of taping a little iron bar to the bottom.

Wasn't funny when I saw that the pilot and copilot of the Blackhawk I was on were both Wobbly Ones, or the time my normal CW5 pilot was on leave and they put a 2LT in as my pilot. He was like a teenager who just got the keys to his dad's corvette.

You are very welcome. Iím more than happy to chat and share local sites if you want to do the same for me.

I use blue masking tape and it usually lasts for the day. I tape it inside my topcase and quickly pull it out and tape to the side of my topcase, sign or windshield. Works great!

Sure, we can chat about that - I'm wondering if this is the Jen that I convinced to enter the Coddiwomple in the first place. PM an email address.
