Motorrad clothing fit

Does anyone have experience on the fit of BMW Motorrad jackets? I may purchase one and would be interested if they run small or true to size.

Thanks
Brian

Took my girlfriend to the BMW dealer in Nashville last year, we bought airflow jackets. Trying them on at the dealer helped, one that was there fit her quite well, the fellow at the dealership guestimated my Euro-size correctly. We're very happy with them. I think it really helped to have a starting point by having hers fit so well. Also, I tend to believe in supporting the dealerships. If I try something on at the dealer, I'll buy it there. I don't go home and try and save a few bucks by ordering online. I've seen people do this, especially with helmets. It reached a point where our local motorcycle dealership quit carrying many helmets, and refused to let people try on what stock they had unless they were well known customers. I never had a problem, as the sales people all knew me, but I've seen them tell people "No". I believe that if we don't support the dealerships, we won't have many dealerships to support.

Thank you, yes the jackets are European sized and I know my converted size, but I’m ordering one my through dealer without going in because of COVID restrictions. I’ll have to ensure I can return if I don’t get it right.

Yeah, everything's different in 2020. My bet is you'll be happy with your jacket.

Sizing Is True

I’ve ordered a few BMW suits over the years. I find their sizing is pretty spot on. I’m a true 42 US suit size so the euro size 52 on the jacket fits perfectly. My shirt size is 16 neck and 34 sleeve. My pants are a 34 waist and 33 inseam so I wear a 102 pant for the euro size. I’ve always had good luck with BMW sizing.

I have 34" inseam and was surprised I didn't need the tall size in my Streetguard 4 pants.
In most BMW pants I need to buy the tall size.
My wife also has a 34" inseam and she had to buy the tall size for her Streetguard pants.
