(delayed) Hello from northern NJ!

Bought my 2010 K1300GT back in Nov 2017 (only 990 miles at the time... unfortunate spine/back problems with original owner who held on for a long time until turning back in to dealership in CA), but just joined MOA early this year.

I need some help in The Garage, but believe it is more polite for me to introduce myself here first! I'm Glenn from northern NJ. Added the BMW to my other sport tourer (1999 Honda Blackbird) because wifey wasn't comfortable enough on that set up. So the K1300GT serves us well!

Hallo N-Jursey!
A happier pillion is a great beginning! Getting colder down south, so make sure you invest in some good heated clothing {if U intend to ride this winter}. Are they still doing the NE Presidents' Breakfast rides up there? I used to attend. See https://www.bmwmoa.org/page/charteredclubs to find a club that suits you both! I think the breakfast may have been connected to New Sweden activities...

Enjoy that wonderful machine U inherited! One man's loss is another man's gifted opportunity!
Ciao!

Welcome Glenn to you and your wife! Nice looking bike sir and a helluva find. I also have a Honda and a BMW in the garage. I'm betting the K1300GT will serve you both well.

Thanks for posting the pic.
