New (to me) K1200S Owner - checking in

Good day, Steve here from Milton, Florida - just outside Pensacola.
Picked up a 2008 K1200S with 2200 miles on it in January - my first sportbike. Her name is "Lena", meaning 'Temptress.'
I have had the cruisers and tourers. '81 GL1100, '73 Ironhead Sportster, 98 Honda Valkyrie.
Currently have the '95 FLSTN Heritage, '14 F6B, and now the K12. I think I got the toolbox properly equipped now... :)
Retired Marine pilot and now just teach the MSF courses for the Navy and for Harley Davidson for some gas money.

The K1200S and I are still 'dating' - haven't quite figured each other out yet, but we're getting there. She's got over 7,000 on the clock and new Michelin rubber.
Went to the California SuperBike School in May, and learned a lot from Keith Code's team about sport bikes and the proper handling thereof. Going to make that an annual recurrence.

Did a 22 state cross country this summer on the F6B - 8,000 miles all told. Great trip.
Now that the deer have allegedly finished chasing each other across roads, Lena and I are going to find some roads and play a bit more.

Cheers,
Steve

Welcome, Steve! Looks like you have the road-burning side of motorcycling covered! Nice array of bikes.

Welcome, Steve, from the coast of Kansas. Nice looking KS, also the others, but the sport bike turns my crank.

Hello Steve. Am going to have to agree with Royce, the K1200S is a great looking bike. Thanks for the pics!
