BMW MOA tire Hazard Program

After so many nails, I finally joined the tire program. Besides asking my dealer a million questions, the end result was the program has already paid for itself. Found a small nail in my tire. I always take my wheel off the bike, and take it in to dealer. Normally I pay roughly $230. I figured, sweet, they cover up to $250, I won’t have to pay anything. However, I was pleasantly surprised that they charged the full retail price of tire, so I ended up paying $59.95 out the door. Still saved money though...

Sounds as if things went very smoothly for you. You still could have another tire replaced under the plan if you pick up another nail this year. For those who aren't aware of the membership plans, here's some more information:

Of course, there's a long list of BMW MOA member benefits and discounts. Find it here: https://www.bmwmoa.org/page/memberdiscounts

The benefits of this program is one of the reasons I dropped my HOG membership and roadside assistance...and went with the BMW MOA plan.

The Harley program only covers Harley-branded bikes; this one will cover three bikes of ANY brand...and the Harley ‘tire insurance’ is a train wreck and expensive.

We have a Harley Ultra, a BMW R1200RT and a Kawasaki Vulcan S; done deal and peace of mind.
