2007 R1200S Centre Stand

BC1100S

Left Coast Rider
Did BMW or anyone else make a centre stand for this motorcycle? If yes, who and can I still order one? I have a stand which fits into the rear wheel hub but that doesn't help when I want to change oil in the FD.

Thanks!

You left us and picked up a R12S?

I don’t think there are even tabs for one like the K12S has. I will look in the morning to see if my Wunderlich fits in the recesses of frame to trans/ engine. I have changed FD lube several times on our 2007 but am drawing blank on how I did that at moment.

I looked and believe I use my ATV parallel arm lift with a block on engine block to spread weight. The headers are just above the bottom of engine block so out of way for lifting.I set bike upright with PitBull big hole stand and position ATV lift to just lift wheel, then remove PitBull to drop the drive. PITA, but only option I know.
Our S gets minimal miles so it’s been over a year for drive maintenance. Everything else is done with front and rear PitBulls.

There are no provisions for a center stand as you have discovered and I have rediscovered this morning.
On H’s K12S, and other models like F800’s, the adjustable Wunderlich stand does the trick.

Sorry for my tardy response! I posted this for a buddy and totally forgot about it. Oops!

My buddy is one of those fastidious types who is always cleaning his bike while on tour and wanted to be able to hoist the back wheel off the ground so he could clean it easier. :dunno

Thanks for the research, Henzilla! Looks like we both threw snake eyes.
