2012 RT grip heaters

My wife bought a very nice 2012 R1200RT so I have a new job!

Her left grip heater stopped working but the right is fine. Nearest dealer is 4 hours away so I'm going to try to fix it as part of my new job ;-)

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Cheers - Strips

Beings the one grip works, I would track down the wiring to the other and test voltage. If there is power going to the wire, the heating element is most likely bad.
