First pics are emerging of the 2021 RT. What do you think?

I can't wait to see one in my dealer's showroom.

Looks like they have a new shroud on the exhaust pipe, just prior to the muffler. Maybe they redesigned the flapper.

While I'm very satisfied with my 2018 I'll probably trade eventually for the new model. I always like to give these major upgrades some evaluation time. I'm very curious to see how this new dash works out. Also very interested to hear feedback on the system that takes over the bike during "excessive lean angles". Doesn't sound like something I'd want.

I’m not seeing in any of the pics a mount location for the Nav VI... Will the TFT and BMW Connected app be the only supported GPS solution? The document linked in post #5 sure makes it sound that way. That’s a bit concerning for those of us who have been less than favorably impressed with the app/TFT combination at the level of development seen on the 2018-2020 bikes.

Maybe I'll think about the MY2023 Mottorad 100th Anniversary Edition. At about $ 29,999!!!!

I'm betting $19,650 base (of which five in total will be sent to the US market). And $24.850 for typical build, unless you want a color other than non-metallic grey, which will ad $800.00 to $2,100.00. That will put the Sparkling Polar Poop Brown Metallic with genuine imitation Polar Bear White Fur Saddle at $26,950.00 plus whatever adaptive options you may desire, unless you want to order a specific build and wait four months or more, depending on virus status. Oh, don't forget shipping/prep which should be $595.00 or so by now.

So BMW is now providing the thing to stare at instead of looking down the road ahead of you. Someday they might realize that a motorcycle isn't a car but until then, good luck with the doo dads. They might kill you.

Even in a car, they'll kill you.........

IMHO, texting and TFT fiddling are the same
