You win! :bow

FWIW, my $23 auxiliary lights are still working flawlessly after 2 years and ~14k miles. Closeup2.jpg

Looking forward to Videos

This looks fantastic! Can’t wait to see the 6 videos - just purchased a 2016 after a 7 year hiatus with little children (previous bikes 03 Ninja 250, 06 Connie, 09 Goldwing). Installed Werks quiet ride shield as my first farkle today - huge improvement! Will wait to buy more until your videos are released!

Thanks for sharing. Nice videos. Having owned BMW RT's along with GS's since 2000 I have adopted a lot if the items you suggest. As you noted much of the items are personal preference. I do like your organization of stuff as I am quite OCD.

Ride safe!

BoxFlyer - when are your videos coming out? It’s wintertime and time to Farkle-Up while the bike is in hibernation...

3/4. One day I need to ride a bike with aftermarket lights - I’ve never added them to my previous three bikes - but so many people do this mod - must be worth it
6. Have top case and Nav VI

On my list:
RDL seat (Feb date)
Some sort of highway pegs as I like long miles - looking at Sahara now as they seem to be the only ones not require crash bars

Usually weighted bar ends help quill the vibration. There is a company in NY State (forget the name) that makes them for most bikes.

As far as aftermarket light ... a lot of guys like myself add them primarily for daytime conspicuity especially with yellow or amber lenses. However if you do ride at night most of the LED lights really light up the road and some of the more high powered lights can truly turn night into day.

Which ones turn night into day? I do ride at night often - is there a brand that lights up the world - preferable without needing crash bars to attach to?

I’m working on the last bit of Part 1/6 and hope to have it up by the end of the week.
Sorry for the delay.

The 2 most popular brands are Clearwater and Denail. Denali's are sold by Twisted Throttle. But be warned these are not inexpensive sun makers. The most powerful Clearwater lights can run about $1000 for a pair but that is the complete kit. The most powerful Detali lights probably run about $600-$700 for the complete kit. Both brands offer various mounting options that do not require crash bars. And both Clearwater and Denail offer plug and play canbus controllers whereby you don't need a switch to turn them on / off as it uses your bike electronics to handle multiple tasks.
