Cool Traveling across USA---Stuck in Baltimore!

I am photographer traveling across country from Massachusetts to California on my 1997 R1100rs and I broke down in Baltimore. I brought it to a mechanic that is not specialized in BMW. I do am looking for a recommendation!!!
Luckily I broke down 3 miles from my brothers house, but I would like to move on asap!!

Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Welcome to the forum, but sorry for your troubles! What is the nature of your problem? Any advance warning? Do you happen to have the Anonymous Book application on your phone or do you have the physical book in hand? You could find dealers near you and/or find other owners who might have some technical expertise to help.

Bob's BMW is Jessup, MD, is less than 30 minutes from you.

From that perspective, he's probably in a great place for a breakdown........

Ditto Bobís BMW. Youíll get expert service there.

There are worse places to be broken down than Baltimore! Itís a neat city to explore if you have a few down days due to mechanical issues.

Ah! Maybe he is too busy getting the bike towed and trying to find a place to stay near Bob's to be keeping up with us once he was clued in to Bob's. Time will tell I suppose. Meanwhile I wish him luck. On-road break downs are no fun.
