    Source for R27 Carburetor (1964)

Any suggestions for where I can find a replacement carburetor for an 1964 R27?

Other than fleabay, I'd contact Bing US and see if they have any for sale. Of course $$$$. From time to time I've heard of knock carbs but they're pretty crude. I think some have used a Mikuni as a replacement...would have to look at the attachment.

You could also check with Bing on repairs to your (assumed) existing carb.

    I've seen a /5 carb used

I've seen a few cases where an R 50-60/5 carb has been used on a 250 single. I'm curious about why you feel you need a new carburetor? You could also try posting on the Flea Market and the IBMW website.

just to reinforce Kurts reply, I was very surprised by Bings ability to fix a hole in the bowl on an old carb I had that I thought was done. If you have the carb and are interested, you can reach Charlie at Bing USA @ (620) 767-7844. Good luck.
