My wife is usually with me, we have logged miles and she is with 80% of the time. The rest of the time she understands. One Saturday I was servicing my motorcycle and told her I was going for a ride. I ended up 120 miles away, visiting my dad. There are other unplanned rides, one shake down ride I got home 1,000 miles later. It will be 38 years for us.

39 years on Saturday. And I am in the upper Peninsula of Michigan on another solo trip....

There are relatively few of us that are blessed with a spouse that rides and likes to ride as much as we do. Annie and I are in West Yellowstone tonight for the last night of an eight day ride. We attended a Getaway in Utah and rode in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona and Nevada. So I guess that after 45 years I know I’m going to have a good ride when Annie “forces” me to go.
