Hexhead (07 R1200RT) balancer shaft seal - thoughts?

I'm trying to decide if the balancer shaft seal needs replacement (which I'd rather not do). I think it's just dirty from clutch dust? The bike has ~114k on it so far...

Penny for your thoughts:

The seal does not appear to be leaking. I'd clean up the clutch dust and examine closer. Replacement from this point is only a couple of minutes and seal is only $30 bucks. If it was mine I'd change it.

Yeah, after I removed myself from the garage for a while, I've decided to change it. I'd hate to have a $30 seal end up leaking and then make me break down the bike this far again.

I've came to terms that the bike will be down for a bit longer :)

Smart decision.
It is weeping slightly, that is why the dust is sticking to it.
Notice the shininess close to the balancer shaft
