Great ride, left February 28 from Okauchee when it was 28 above for bike week. Got to Daytona on Friday the 3rd of March. After four days of wind and cool weather, headed for Key West for a few days. On the way back, stopped and played with friends in Naples for a couple of days and then headed for the Big Easy,New Orleans, Louisiana. Had lunch at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. From New Orleans we worked our way up 55 to Memphis, TN for some fun on Beal Street and then to Jonesboro AR. to visit Maureen's sister. We left Jonesboro on the 17th of March at 7:30 AM. The temp was 46 above and overcast all the way to central Illinois where we finally saw sun and clear blue sky and where the temp was 36 and kept dropping as we headed north. When we got to the rest area just north of the Illinois state line we stopped to warm up before we rode the last 45 mile to Okauchee. After 645 miles from Jonesboro and when we only had a few blocks to home the temp on the bank was 24 above. After 4130 miles of steady speeds of 85 and 90 mile per hour days and a great passenger, we are ready to go again. :type

Hey handsome Bob,
Sounds like you and Maureen had a really memerable trip, she sure is a trooper. Will be looking forward to seeing you two in Vermont at another International Rally. Rumor has it the International Rally next year is in Wisconsin at the Washington County fair grounds. Sucks for us, too darn close, may have to go south and around the great lakes to get there!
