Hello! My name is Doug and I'm new to the BMW owner's world. I currently bought a 2006 R1200RT from my Father who rode it for years, but can't ride anymore due to health. I've been motorcycling for 31 years on other various models including a 68 Triumph Bonneville, BSA and Honda, etc. but the BMW is by far the best and I'm really enjoying it! It's a very nice handling machine, and comfortable.
We live in Sheboygan, which is north of Milwaukee right on Lake Michigan. Again, HELLO!:wave

Nice to make your acquaintance, Doug! I am from the Milwaukee area and I ride a 2007 BMW R1200R. We will have to go for a ride some time.

And a western welcome from the Idaho mountains. Long may you ride!

Another welcome from the edge of the great Idaho high desert! Sound like you have a very nice bike, and I'm sure it is going to give you many miles of joy.
