Replacing front turn signal (LED) R1200RT

Can someone shed lights on the proper steps to replace the front LED turn signal unit?

I pull out the speaker and while I could see the 2 screws holding the turn signal light assembly, but I can’t figure out how to access the 2 screws.

Thought I would check here before I try to remove more Tupperware than I have to.
