My brother just moved to the Denver area and was in need of a mechanic to deal with his 071200GT overheating. He called BMW of Denver, they could get him in in two weeks. Thing is, I'm meeting him the 25th and heading to Wyoming and SD [ we'll take in Sturgis rally for a 1/2 a day while there.

I'd read someone's post here fairly recently that the linked business had helped him in an emergency while on a trip and in that area, took him right in and fixed the bike while the guy waited on an hours notice. Hmm, I took that information for future reference then. So when my brother called the bike wasn't going to be ready for our trip, I gave him this guys business contact information.

He made the call, told the owner the issue and our planned trip next weekend. Owner said bring the bike in [ 2 days from the call ] and he'd take care of it even though he normally wouldn't be able to get to the bike for about a week. Yesterday, he towed it to this guys shop. Plastic removed, radiator removed, flushed, refilled with a new cap. While he was at the bike, he double checked torques on major areas for him.

Out the door in 2.5 hours, bikes running like a top once more. Short notice, he fit my brother in and he now has a dedicated customer. He gave him a 50.00 tip for taking care of him. As it turns out, I've found him a mechanic with 20+ years on Beemers [ used to work at BMW Denver ] who's like my private mechanic, years on Beemers and will help a guy out who's in a bind.

I thought this guy ought to get some press time and recognition for his above and beyond service on short notice.
