I'm not new to riding or BMW - last two bikes were 82 and 85 R100RSs. Stepping back in after 30-plus years out with a 84 R100RT. Beautiful old bike, but I think the heart overwhelmed the head. I will need to find an original saddle and get some recommendations for a good shop in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area that can check the bike over. I'll be checking in with the local BMW Dallas/Ft. Worth club. Any recommendations are appreciated.

Happy to be getting closer to being back on the road none the less!!

Thanks!!

Welcome to the Forums and the MOA! I know some of the folks in the DFW MOA Club. They're very active and involved and someone will have the knowledge and advice you need.

Welcome.

Here is the link to the Dallas Fort Worth Club. One of our awesome Charter clubs; I had the distinct pleasure of interfacing with their officers a couple of years ago at an Open Session Board meeting. As a result of that meeting they became one of our first test run clubs for the MOA hosting their website.

I highly recommend you plug in with this group of experienced riders.
